Contrusion at Balaklia. And the Cherk offensive phase.

On 6 September, the operational group of SZU in the area of Balakliji moved to offensive action, attacking north and south of the city. The tactical success evolved in the following days into an operational break of the front - not only occupied Balaklia itself, but the avant-garde (divided mobile forces) entered after 3 days of controversy (6-8 September) into nearly 40-50 km behind a broken front line, resulting in the spilling of the front in the Balaklia-Kupiansk-Izium region.
