In the Kłodzka Basin in Lower Silesia, soldiers from the Task Force of Engineering Forces from the Bank are dismantling buildings that suffered from the flood of 2024. The current demolitions began on 12 January at the request of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. A ten-member group of bomb squads works in Krosnowiec in the municipality of Kłodzko. To date, bomb squads from Brzeg have demolished 42 buildings destroyed by flooding in Lower Silesia (including 37 residential ones) in the municipalities of: Strocie Śląskie, Kłodzko and Lądek-Zdrój. They are besides waiting for work on the reconstruction of the pedestrian footbridge on the Bebr river in Lviv Śląski. They should start in the spring.
