During the excavations at the celebrated Hadrian Wall, or more specifically at the Vindolanda camp, the amateur archaeologists' matrimony made an extraordinary discovery. They dug up an ancient relief depicting the Roman goddess Victoria, a personification of triumph and military power of the Roman Empire.
