Shield AI, an American maker of autonomous systems and AI software for the military, has announced the conclusion of a final agreement on the acquisition of Echodyne. The value of the transaction is $5.3 billion. This decision means a sharp strengthening of Shield's position in the sector of anti-unmanned aerial systems (C-UAS) and next-generation radar sensors.
