The Training Centre of the Territorial Defence Army is 1 of the organizers of key courses raising the qualifications of soldiers from all over Poland. An extended scope of trainings include training for firewatchers, snipers or medics. The precedence of the training is to adapt them to the contemporary battlefield, so during the course of the courses, participants learn not only the expertise, but besides the ways in which drones are utilized and protected from them.
Today's armed conflicts, thanks to modern technology have changed the face of the battles. Unmanned aircraft (BSP) – drones – are valuable aid in tracking and observing the enemy's actions. The diagnosis conducted utilizing them is silent, frequently undetectable and so effective. An additional advantage of drones is the ability to monitor hostile positions for hours without the hazard of direct fighting and attacking enemy targets at large distances.
The WOT Training Centre's changes in the conduct of military activities have besides introduced a number of modifications to the training programmes of specialised soldiers. The CSWOT drones have become an integral part of training, in which instructors teach soldiers to exploit their possible and how to defend themselves against them.
"The technological improvement of the usage of various drones is highly dynamic, not only in armed action but especially in the civilian market. By teaching our soldiers specialist cognition about the usage of drones, we request to focus on the possibilities of applying these modern solutions, but first of all we request to make the soldiers aware of the risks they pose and how to defend themselves against them." - said the lecturer of the WOT Training Centre.
The Training Centre of the Territorial Defence Army presently carries out more than 40 diverse courses and trainings of specialist, teacher and command. CSWOT has become the only place in the country where specialist courses are carried out, among others, of JAVELIN-led anti-tank rocket operators, M-72 grenade instructors or training of instructors and operators of WARMATE-circulating ammunition system.
