How crucial is the participation of wives/husbands in the presidential campaign? They would best say in the US, or in France, where it is apparent normality. But in Poland it is not essential to explain it.
– However, not all wives or husbands, like Mrs. Biejat, are visible. And that is very unusual in Poland, due to the fact that spouses can be a very large asset to be utilized in the election run and that is absolutely a plus. Not hiding them on the side, it is not known why or why – says Dr. Mirosław Okkoś, a specialist in political marketing.
Dr Bartłomiej Bishop, a political scientist, points out that, of course, the first woman does not radically influence the candidate's ranking.
– It's not like he can mess with the polls. Although the wife greatly complements the image of the presidential candidate and the leader to be.
