Two medals won Poland's representation at the European Rowing Championships held in Bulgaria. On the regatta track in Plovdiv, there were soldiers from the Central Military Sports Team: in the gold double – Wsr. Mirosław Ziętarski and Wsr. Mateusz Biskup, and in the brown double – Wsr. Dominic Chaja.

The only gold medal for the White and Reds was won in Bulgaria by soldiers from the “Army of Champions”: Wsher. Mirosław Ziętarski and Wsr. Mateusz Bishop. With another partner – Paul O’Donovan – he won gold medals at the Tokyo and Paris games in double lightweights, and in Japan, with a consequence of 6 min 5.33 s, the Irish duo set a fresh planet record.
The second medal for Poland was won in Plovdiv by 4 doubles in the line-up: szer. Dominik Czaja, Piotr Płominski, Jakub Wozniak and Konrad Domanski. The men's eighth with the helmman – Magdalena Piłana won a advanced place at the Old Continent championship. Together with Szymon Tomiak, Kazimir Ziven Kuja, Tomasz Lewicki, Mateusz Wilangowski, Jerzy Kaczmarek, Oskar Streich and Emilian Jackowiak they finished in 5th place. Gold was won by the British, silver by the Dutch, and bronze by the Italians.
On the next weekend – in Kruszwica – rowers will fight for medals of the Polish championship, and on 13–15 June, national representatives will meet with players from the planet top in Varese, Italy, where regatta will be held included in the planet Cup classification.
