The Bielsko-Biała territory Court found serious irregularities during the examination of ballots from 2 electoral committees. In 1 case, votes were exchanged between candidates, in the another – 160 votes for Rafał Trzaskowski were attributed to Karol Nawrock.
"The territory Court in Bielsko-Biała revealed irregularities after examining ballot cards from 2 Circuit Election Commissions. This raises serious doubts as to the reliability of the Commission's work. He besides points to the anticipation of committing a crime" said Minister of Justice Adam Bodnar on Wednesday.
‘In the first case, the votes cast for individual candidates were replaced. In the second case, 160 votes cast on Rafał Trzaskowski were wrongly shown in the electoral protocol as votes cast to Karol Nawrocki," we read.
Another issue of vote counting in presidential elections
"The Bielsko-Biała court was the only 1 in Poland, attended by the prosecutor. In another cases, the courts did not inform the lawyer General of the time limits for the activities," the Minister indicated.
"I so requested the ultimate Court to supply information on the results of the reviews in the another Electoral Commissions," he said.
The head of government besides spoke about the last elections and counting the votes on Wednesday. "I put very clearly the question of the credibility of the elections at the National safety Council. Citizens must be certain that their votes have been counted correctly. You cannot let 1 vote to be ignored," said Donald Tusk.
– Citizens are to be certain that their votes have been well counted," he added. "The number of protests (election-ed.) exceeded the expectations of all of us," stressed the Prime Minister.
– All doubts must be resolved so that no one, neither in Poland nor outside Poland, can question the results of the elections," said Tusk.
