In an interview by the head of the Estonian MO for [Eesti Rahvusringhäälinga station](https://www.err.ee/1609757604/eesti-kaitsevoime-arendamisel-on-rohk-ohukaitsel-suvalookidel-ja-luurel) the subject of developing the capabilities of the local army in the coming years and what has been done so far was raised. It mentioned the assumptions of the Ministry of Defence's improvement plan for the period 2026–2029, which was late presented by Pevkur.
