At the turn of October and November 2025, 2nd Polish Corps soldiers participated in 2 key NATO exercises – Avenger Triad 25 and Steadfast Duel 2025. Both projects stressed the increasing function of Polish forces in building command and defence capabilities on the east flank of the Alliance.

This is the first task implementing the script of Article 5 after the accession of Sweden and Finland. The aim was to improve the decision-making process, integrate combat systems and synchronise activities in a multi-domain environment.

The combination of the 2 exercises increased the realism of training and allowed coordinated action by land, air, sea, cybernetic and space, strengthening NATO's ability to respond to crisis situations.

The 2nd Corps actions are part of building NATO's deterrence capacity on the east flank and the improvement of the east Flank Deterrence Line – a strategy strengthening the Alliance's interaction and resilience.

Poland plays a central function in the Avenger Triad series as both host and active participant. In the 2025 edition, exercises were carried out, among others, in Szczecin and Poznań, where the office of the Multinational North-East Corps (MNC NE) improved command processes in conditions of simulated conflict.

The final phase of the 2KP-DKL participation in the Avenger Triad 25 exercise was its summary and discussion of the effects. It was besides attended by NATO elder Mentor, weapon Gen.
