Iga Christmas most likely checked in at the 3rd circular of the French Open. Polka defeated 20-year-old Czech Sarah Bejlek 6:2, 6:3 in Paris and inactive remains in the game with a 5th title on Roland Garros courts.
The victory, however, does not mean that Rashinianka did not have any difficulties during the gathering with Czeszka – she made as many as 38 unforced mistakes and had problems with the service, recording six double mistakes. Bejlek had long been incapable to hold her own application, but in the second set she utilized the weaker minute of her rival and approached 3:4.
However, the tip belonged only to our champion. Christmas threw a higher run and didn't even give Czecha a point to the last ball. He'll play another game with Magda Linette.
