The results of the 1st circular of the presidential election proved to be a surprise, among others, due to the tiny difference of votes between Rafał Trzaskowski and Karol Nawrocki. In specified circumstances, the last direct debate to which candidates are to stand can play a decisive role. Unfortunately, it seems that the quality of the democratic process will one more time be compromised and that the debate itself will not take place.
