"Out of respect for the Polish State and the seriousness of the moment, I decided that I would not take action to reverse yesterday (...) callback me from the position of president of the KRRiT" - wrote Maciej Świrski in a statement. He declared on Monday that he intended to stay in his position, contrary to the decision of the majority of the Council members.
On Friday, the Sejm decided by majority to place Maciej Swirski before The Court of State. The application was related to irregularities that Swirski was to commit during his duties as chief National Broadcasting Council. Following a Friday vote, Swirski referred to the decision of the lower chamber.

As he argued, "this vote was not to be implemented de facto, the Constitution was broken by this vote And 1 day it will be settled." He stressed that he did not recognise the result of the vote. - I'm sorry. I won't resign.I won't suspend, I won't change my position in KRRiT. KRRiT works as it worked, business as user - added.

Monday KRRiT stated that Świrski had been dismissed from his post as head of the statutory body by a four-vote majority. The curious organization himself claimed that the council vote was illegal. Meanwhile, on Tuesday morning, he issued a message indicating, however, that he no longer intends to work as head of the KRRiT.

He explained that this had something to do with the 6 August swearing in Karol Nawrocki. "Out of respect for the Polish State and the seriousness of the minute I decided that I would not take action to reverse yesterday - in my opinion of the legally flawed - remove me from the position of president of the KRRiT" - he said.
"In the face of the oath of the president of Poland I don't want to give the ruling people an excuse. to make chaos and to lower the rank of offices" - explained in the further part of the online entry.
