The prosecution investigates the circumstances of the death of a two-year-old boy whose body was found in a watershed in the area of a nursery in Ząbki close Warsaw. 2 babysitters aged 53 and 48 were detained in connection with the case.
The tragedy occurred on Wednesday in a nursery on Kwiatowa Street. The kid was pulled out of the water by people in the facility who began CPR. Police and paramedics later took over, but the boy's life was not saved.
According to the Public Prosecutor's Office of Warsaw-Prague, the preliminary examination showed no injuries indicating participation of 3rd parties. Investigators shall safe documentation regarding the functioning of the facility and interrogate witnesses. The detainees stay at the hands of the D.A. – investigators are expected to decide within 48 hours whether the women will be presented with charges.
