When's the 14th retirement going to seniors this year? any recipients are expected to change
ZUS informed in a communication published on 27 August 2025 that the 14th pension would go to eligible persons together with the pensions due for September. Let us remind you that each recipient is assigned a circumstantial date in which he receives money from the Social Insurance Institution. In the case of pensions, this is the 1st, 6th, 10th, 15th, 20th and 25th day of each month. However, if the date is simply a weekend or a holiday, the payment shall always take place earlier. Therefore, elder citizens will receive their benefits plus an allowance on the following dates:
1 September (Monday) for persons with benefits payments on the 1st day of the month,
5 September (Friday) for persons with benefits payments on the 6th day of the month,
10 September (Wednesday) for persons with payment of benefits on the 10th day of the month,
15 September (Monday) for persons with benefits payments on the 15th day of the month,
19 September (Friday) for persons with benefits payments on the 20th day of the month,
25 September (Thursday) for persons with benefits payments on the 25th day of the month.
So, as you can see, 2 groups will receive money earlier: the recipients of the 6th and 20th day of the month. In September, both of these days fall out on Saturday. But how much can we get exactly?
What's the 14th retirement of 2025? Not all authorised will receive the same amount
ZUS confirmed that the 14th pension in full amount will be paid at PLN 1878.91 gross, i.e. it will be equal to the minimum pension. That is precisely what people will receive, who will not exceed the income threshold of PLN 2900 gross. In the case of higher income, the pension allowance will be reduced according to the "gold for gold" principle. If it turns out that after the deduction of the "fourteen" would be little than PLN 50 gross, ZUS will not pay us any extra money at all. This besides applies to persons whose pension will be suspended on 31 August.

The 14th pension is paid ex officio, so we don't gotta file separate applications to get the money. The Office will besides calculate how much we deserve. According to the data provided in the aforementioned ZUS communication, at the first date the "fourteenth" will receive 674.1 1000 people for a full amount of over PLN 991.2 million gross.
