The Social Insurance Institution has proposed a change concerning pensions and disability benefits, consisting in the introduction of only non-cash payments of benefits. ZUS argues that making transfers is much cheaper than postal orders. The thought of the Department was referred to by the Ministry of Family, Labour and Politics.
