Żurek responds to information about Ziobrze. “Why is Ziobro inactive companying your party?”

Minister of Justice and lawyer General Waldemar Żurek referred on Saturday to the findings of the journalists Virtual Poland and TVN24 and the materials from the investigation into the fallen Zondacrypto stock exchange.

The case concerns the evidence of the president of Przemysław Krala, who described the procedure of transferring PLN 450 1000 to the account of the Institute of Sovereign Poland, a foundation connected with the environment of erstwhile head of the hotel Zbigniew Ziobry. The chief of the department quoted fragments of the business relationship, indicating the promise of a protective umbrella:

"Zbyszek promised that erstwhile he returned to power in the Ministry of Justice, he would turn his head on all these matters".

Waldemar Żurek commented on the revealed mechanics as a direct transaction in exchange for impunity:

"It is absolutely simple: a man with charges pays hundreds of thousands, and in return is to get impunity and block investigations after a possible return to the resort".

Questions to the Law and Justice, Ziebra position and scope of investigative verification

The head of the Justice Ministry addressed straight to the president of Law and Justice Jarosław Kaczyński and the leadership of the group, referring to the fact that the erstwhile minister inactive serves as vice president of the organization and resides in the United States:

"Today Zbigniew Ziobro is inactive Vice president of Law and Justice and is hiding in the United States. The question to Jarosław Kaczyński and the management of the Law and Justice Office is no longer whether you knew this. The question is, why is Ziobro inactive holding your party? Is there a reason he doesn't respond to any of this fear of what kind of folders and hooks he left on you? You have political and moral work here and now. measure yourselves.”

Zbigniew Ziobro himself referred to the case in an interview published in “Gazeta Wyborcza”. He confirmed the impact of PLN 450 1000 on the Foundation's account, explaining the deficiency of reliable verification of the donor and the ignorance of the virtual currency market:

"From today's perspective, I admit that we have verified Mr. Kral far besides quickly. After gathering Artur Czyczński, I should have deepened my cognition of Kral. And if I had learned what was known about the businessman today, I would not have accepted a donation."

The politician added that during his office on cryptocurrency he “was acquainted with the Egyptian hieroglyphs” and had no information about proceedings against Krala and the stock exchange entities. In the ongoing proceedings, the prosecution is presently investigating the circumstances of the resignation of Zondacrypto investigations between 2019 and 1923, as well as the participation of intermediaries, including erstwhile service officers, in business contacts with representatives of the authorities of the time.
