On September 28, China will debut ZK COLLABORATION. The band will advance the latest album “Slow Food” with concerts in Nanning, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Xiamen. The tour will last until 3 October and is organized as part of the JAZZ POLSKA task “About the World”.
ZK COLLABORATION will execute in China in composition Maciej Kądziela – saxophone, Roman Chraniak – bass and Adam Zagórski – drums. The band will start their tour on 28 September at Nanning at Malt home Jazz Club and then play on 29 September in Shanghai at EU Jazz period at JZ (29 September). In the following days, musicians will play in Xiamen, RealLive and Books club (30 September and 1 October), and will run workshops at BPop Studio. ZK Collaboration will advance the material from the latest album "Slow Food", which appeared in the iconic series Polish Jazz (2021, Polish Recordings). The ZK Collaboration tour in China, in which the group will play 8 concerts, is organized as part of the JAZZ POLSCU task “About the World”
JAZZ IN POLAND “About the World” is inspired by the achievements of Polish traveler Paweł Edmund Strzelecki, who was the first Pole on his own initiative to environment the world. Strzelecki made an extraordinary journey between 1834 and 1843 during which he conducted extended geological and geographical research, contributing to the improvement of cognition about the modern world. To date, over 100 events have been held within the task in 18 countries where 18 teams have participated.
The JAZZ task “About the World” is implemented by the JAZZ POLSK Foundation. The honorary patronage of the task was the Ministry of abroad Affairs. The partners of the task are: Adam Mickiewicz Institute, LOT Polish Airlines, Industrial improvement Agency Foundation and economical Diplomacy Foundation. The strategical partner of the task is the Podlaskie Region. The sponsor of the Chinese edition of the task is Allrango. ZK Collaboration It's a squad born of destiny and friendship. It just had to happen. Everything established in 2016, come on, it started much earlier. destiny and the course of events slowly, but consistently directed the lives of the leaders of ZK Collaboration Maciej and Adam in specified a way that thanks to the artistic experience gained over the last decade outside Poland, return and join forces.

JAZZ IN POLAND “About the World” took the form of an global tour, in which Polish jazz bands will execute on 4 continents in 3 years. The task began last May and will proceed until the end of 2025. So far, more than 100 events have been held in 18 countries with 16 teams. Concerts were held in Albania, Austria, Bangladesh, China, Croatia, India, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Canada, Macedonia, Moldova, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Taiwan, Hungary and Vietnam. The task was attended by teams specified as Confusion Project, JAH Trio, Mateusz Gawada Trio, Michał Ciesielski Band, Paweł Kaczmarczyk Trio, Piotr Damasiewicz Into The Roots, Piotr Damasiewicz-Kuba Wójcik, Piotr Damasiewicz-Aleksandra Kryńska, Piotr Krępeć, Piotr Lemańczyk electrical Band, Sarnecki-Zagórski-Ettun, Rafał Sarnecki Quintet, Simona De Rosa feat. JAZZ IN POLAND Foundation is simply a NGO organization presenting a wide spectrum of opportunities of young generation Polish artists. It helps to establish global cultural cooperation and integrates the artistic community of many countries. It aims to refresh and strengthen the image of Polish jazz in the consciousness of abroad audiences. Since 2012, JAZZ POLSCU has held over 400 events in 25 countries. 200 musicians participated. Polish and abroad artists concerts are besides held in Poland as part of organized projects.
