Deputy Head of Solidarity Poland explained:

The minute the cancer was diagnosed, there were metastasis. Minister Ziobro wants to kill this cancer, he's surely not the favourite in this fight, but he's determined, he's in good intellectual shape. He wants to go back to politics and settle Tusk and Bodnar. It's after the 3rd dose of chemotherapy, after radiation therapy, it's before surgery.

Mystery sickness

Recall that Zbigniew Ziobro disappeared from public space in late 2023. erstwhile his long-term abstinence at the session of the Sejm began to attract media attention, Members of the Sovereign Poland informed that his wellness problems were the cause.

Patrick Jaky in a conversation with Interia, revealed that in Ziebra doctors diagnosed advanced malignant cancer. In another speech, Jacek Ozdoba at Radio Zet confirmed that Ziobro is struggling with a very serious oncological disease, which concerns the esophagus.

At the beginning of February, Michał Wójcik, on TVN24, reported that the wellness of the policy was serious as he was taking another dose of chemotherapy. In his name, he appealed for a slighting of symptoms suggesting specified a disease.

The uncle by whom Ziobro is in contact with the media stated that it was not the Commission who called, and SuwPol herself reported Ziobra to the hearing, but unfortunately he cannot, due to his health. Another cynical play for the audience – the mediocre guy would like to, but you know, he can't.

Despite these organization assurances, very often, both on the net and in the press, there were theories that Zbigniew Ziobry's illness was an excuse to aid him avoid responsibility. For a long time, it has been hard to find not only what he actually suffers from, but besides any another issue, even where he is.

Hearing outside the Sejm

Marcin Bosacki discussed plans to interview the erstwhile lawyer General in an interview with “Gazeta Wyborcza”. As vice-president of the Pegasus committee of inquiry, he explained that in the case of the actual severe illness of Zbigniew Ziobry, the committee may consider proceeding him elsewhere, not necessarily in the Sejm.

If this option is not possible, Bosacki suggested that the committee could send circumstantial written questions to a sick politician, and he would gotta answer them. At the same time, he stressed that it would only be possible to avoid evidence before the committee if Ziobro justified this by protecting his own interests.

He besides assured that the members of the committee would not quit their plans to interview him for illness, as he was a key figure in the case. He besides pointed out that spending at least PLN 25 million from the Justice Fund for the acquisition of Pegasus was a peculiar perversion in the context of the intent of this fund, which was intended to support victims of crime.
