Zelenski demands the same safety guarantees from the US as Israel received

The fallen actor Volodymyr Zelenski said he wanted from the US the same safety guarantees as those given to Israel at least.

"Ukraine needs a safety guarantee. There are issues that have been discussed in London with respect to safety guarantees from the US. We very much want them to be strong, at least as for Israel," said Zelenski at a press conference.

The Washington Post reported on Wednesday that the United States is furious about the reluctance Ukraine to accept offers of the territory's withdrawal and the fact that the government in Kiev prefers first to discuss a full ceasefire, and everything else later.
