Journalists from Ukrainian tv Channel24 revealed that the household of 1 Ukrainian MP purchased luxury apartments in Dubai. According to their findings, the 22-year-old daughter of politician Polina Kasaj, in April 2022 acquired a two-room flat in the Dubai Gate 2 complex for $310,000 (about PLN 1.27 million). During the same period, a 25-year-old cousin, Alexander Kasaj, bought an flat in the Studio 1 tower for $202,000 (about PLN 830 thousand) and later invested in 2 another premises with a full value of $770 1000 (about PLN 3.17 million).
Alexander Kasaj was a partner of Turkish company Vector Avia, who earned a contract from the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence for a sum of $27 million for the production of uniforms. As determined by the safety Service of Ukraine, clothing was of mediocre quality and its cost to the ministry was 3 times higher than the prices in Turkish customs declarations. Kasai's nephew left Ukraine last May.

Journalists asked Gennadija Kasaj about the origin of funds that allowed his relatives to buy housing. However, the MP replied evasively and stated that his daughter and nephew made their own financial decisions without consulting him. However, he could not identify the origin of the funds utilized to acquisition the property in Dubai. He besides denied any connection to his nephew's contract to supply military equipment.
