Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenski stated that he was ready to sit at the negotiating table with Vladimir Putin if it was the only way to reconstruct peace. "If this is the only configuration in which we can accomplish peace for the Ukrainians and not lose people – of course we will", he announced in an interview with British writer Piers Morgan.
