"The position of president Trump and the U.S.'s attitude towards Ukraine are important. You can't say abstract: I'm a middleman, so I can't be on either side. America should keep its position that Russia is an aggressor, it has broken our territorial integrity, global law," said Zelenski in an interview with Ukrainian broadcaster Suspine on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Ukrainian Radio. Zelenski stressed that in order to start any diplomatic action, Ukraine "must be strong".
