Speaking to defence ministers and delegates from 50 countries at the end of the Shangri-La dialog conference, the Ukrainian leader said that "an open and inclusive dialog is needed". "We are convinced that our planet wants to be united and able to act in full harmony," said Zelenski. He argued that diplomacy – in the form of a peace summit to be held in Switzerland on 15-16 June – was the best way to end the ongoing "cruel war". He said that 106 countries and organisations have so far expressed their desire to participate in the Swiss peace summit. However, he found it disappointing that any planet leaders had not yet offered their support. He stressed that**Russia is trying to disrupt peace efforts by threatening another countries to halt food or gas supply if they participate in the summit.**
