Volodymyr Zelenski referred to a possible UN peacekeeping mission during a Friday press conference with visiting Ukraine Czech president Petr Pavlem.
– As for the UN, with all due respect, The UN will not defend us from occupation Or Putin's desire to step in again. We do not see the UN as an alternate to the safety quota or guarantee said president Zelenski.

President of Ukraine explained that his country maintains "reasonable and logical" relations with the UN, however, he stressed that it could not be an "alternative for safety guarantees" before Russia's fresh invasion.
– Surely, erstwhile there are troops that know where they come from, there is air defence and there are ships, planes and there is Major army, a real interview from our partners here in Ukraine, it will surely be dangerous to talk against specified force. Will Russia be afraid of the UN? They've already violated everything in this war, so I don't think so.that they would be afraid," said Zelenski.
France explores the anticipation of involving UN forces
Previously, “The Telegraph” reported that French president Emmanuel Macron actively research alternatives to deployment of European forces in Ukraine.
According to the newspaper, the French president is considering creating a mission to defend the future peace agreement Under the auspices of the UN. Macron raised this issue at the European Council in a discussion with the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres. As the Telegraph notes, any UN peacekeeping force would require the approval of the safety Council, which Russia and the USA enter.
The Czech president said at a press conference with Zelenski that his country may supply part of the quota military in Ukraine.
