The underground city in Helsinki consists of about 500 bunkers that were built for years. This has given local society a place that, in the event of any threat, will be able not only to defend people, but besides to supply them with a substitute for their regular life. According to authors of the YouTube profile called "Planeta Abstraction", the full dimension of the tunnels is about 200 kilometres, any of which scope up to 100 metres below sea level. But the crucial thing is that it can fit as many as 900,000 people. This means that the people of Helsinki and the surrounding areas will be sheltered there in an emergency, as only about 600 000 people live in the capital.
