The banner is an integral part of all unit of the Polish Army, which is simply a symbol of tradition, honor, fidelity, valor and war fame, i.e. the attitude and qualities that the Homeland requires of each soldier. Formed since last year the 18th Artillery Brigade based on the 18th Artillery Regiment (based on Decision No. Z-50/ZOiU-P1 of the Minister of National Defence of 24 April 2024 on the reshaping of the 18th Artillery Regiment in the 18th Artillery Brigade and Order No. Z-316 of the Commander-General of Types of Armed Forces of 18 June 2024) does not yet have it. It is presently being raised by the Social Committee of the Flag Foundations of the 18th Artillery Brigade.
