Major Maciej Krakowian was an experienced pilot and teacher of the 31st Tactical Aviation Base in Poznań-Krzesin. He was besides a associate of the elite Tiger Demo Team, which has represented Poland for years during air shows in Europe.
The collection description emphasized that he was not only an excellent pilot but besides a devoted husband and father.

The military has issued a fresh message.

"Referring to many publications and media comments after the tragedy at Radom Airport, above all, our thoughts and hearts are directed towards the household present and the close pilot who died in the accident" – it is written.
