In 2024, Ukrainian refugees contributed to a crucial increase in the Polish economy of as much as 2.7% of Poland's GDP, according to the Deloitte study prepared for the UN advanced Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). Experts estimation that thanks to better usage of their competences and professional activation, the Polish economy could gain an additional PLN 6 billion.
