They're replacing Russian Western helicopters. And they do it cheaper than Poland!

Cyprus received the first 2 of the six H145M helicopters ordered from the European Airbus company. By the end of 2025, 4 more machines will be delivered. The fresh helicopters will replace the Russian Mi-35P, which had so far been utilized by the 450th National defender Squadron of the Republic of Cyprus.
