As the money.pl portal learns, Karol Nawrocki's election committee has so far raised about PLN 22 million. The expenditure limit is PLN 24.6 million. In the Law and Justice, they anticipate the sum of the payments to be close to this border. It seems that the deficiency of money from the budget has not affected run expenses besides much.
Let us remind you: Law and Justice have cut funds. The State Election Commission found that the Kaczyński organization had spent money from the budget for its own needs. The Law and Justice Office was so fined by cutting the subsidy. The first yearly payment amounted to PLN 3.7 million. If it wasn't for the scams, the organization would have gotten PLN 2.6 million more. Throughout the year, PiS will receive as much as 11 million PLN little than initially assumed.
As it reminds money.pl, originally the PiS wanted to pay out of its own money for the run of its candidate. Then she began asking her supporters for money, both for the organization and the candidate's campaign. The first results were below the expectations of politicians from Nowogrodzka. For example, PiS wanted to rise about PLN 15 million for the campaign, but in March the counter stood at only 5 million. Now the PiS has better results than expectations.
Money.pl reports that as much as PLN 22 million were collected for the Nawrocki campaign. Nearly 100,000 people made the payments. It follows that the average deposit exceeded 220 PLN.
Will fans proceed to be generous?
As the portal writes, this could mean a change in the financing of the organization in Poland. So far, the organization had made a budget plan before the election, on its basis taking credit and paying it back from a budget subsidy. An example of the PiS shows that a model of organization financing is possible.
However, the question remains whether supporters of the Law and Justice (and another parties) would be willing to transfer money on a regular basis in order to let the day-to-day functioning of the group, or whether they would like to pay only "from Christmas" to campaign.
W The PiS are happy for now. The Kaczyński organization is convinced that PKW wrongly took their money. And if it's wrong, she'll gotta pay it back. At the time, the Law and Justice would be on the plus side, due to the fact that he spends his supporters' money on the campaign.
Of course, it is not certain that matters of the PiS grant take place in courts. So far, the batch has been hit hard in the pocket. The group received PLN 22 million little for the year 2024 and will receive PLN 11 million little for this year and future years (i.e. PLN 15 million alternatively of PLN 26 million).
