UOKiK allegations against respective companies

The president of the Competition and Consumer Protection Office has accused Dino's retail chain, transport companies and managers of collusion of competition in the labour marketplace
– informed the UOKiK on Tuesday.

According to the communication of the antitrust office, the allegations of collusion on the labour marketplace were received by Dino Polska and Euro Finance, Jar-Trans, Martrans Logistics
And Mati-Trans.

The proceedings are besides conducted against 5 individuals: 3 managers from Dino Polska
and 1 from Martrans and Mati-Trans who could
be personally liable for unauthorised arrangements.

The aim of entrepreneurs – as reported by UOKiK – may have been to hold existing employees, reduce their turnover or reduce recruitment costs. ‘Knowing that another companies would not offer employees higher salaries, they did not gotta rise themselves
their remuneration, which may have been lower than under conditions of fair competition, has been indicated by the Authority.

Evidence of this possible practice of UOKiK has been obtained
while searching the premises of companies.
