How do Poles feel about the European Union – especially before the EU-Mercosur agreement is expected to enter into force? The latest survey shows that the vast majority of our citizens inactive do not want Poland to leave the Community. The percent of Polesitu supporters represents just over 1 5th of the respondents.

The Pollster investigation Institute commissioned by “Super Express” asked Poles: “Should Poland leave the European Union?”.

The results of the survey confirm that Poles are clearly in favour of remaining in the Community. As many as 69 percent of respondents replied that Poland should not leave the ranks of the European Union, of which 51% believe that "agreement is not", and another 18 percent – alternatively not". 9 percent of respondents have no opinion on this issue.

Other respondents are supporters of the alleged Polexit – Poland's exit from the European Union. There are 22% of them, of which 10% believe that our country "agreement" should leave the EU structure and 12% believe that this should happen soon.

Pollster polls were performed on a typical group of 1002 adult Poles utilizing the CAWI method from December 31, 2025 to January 1, 2026. The maximum winter mistake was 3 percent.

The opinion of Poles about the euro is almost inversely proportional. 70% of those surveyed believe that Poland should stay with the home currency alternatively of the EU's single currency. There are only 21 percent respondents in favour of adopting the euro in Poland, and 9% have no opinion on this issue.

According to the “polsatnews.pl” investigation of IBRiS for the Republic of Poland from December, Poles are not willing to accept the euro not only in the close future, but even in the next decade. At the time, 62% of respondents were opposed to joining the euro area by 2035, of which 44% were "agreement". The anticipation of adopting the euro in the December poll was signalled by 28.5% of respondents.
