Television Poland issued a message on the presidential debate in Koński. It's a reaction to the PiS politicians' movement that alerted the D.A. to the anticipation of a crime. "All costs associated with preparing the debate (...) bear the organizer of this event" - we read. TVP reports that it only paid the debater and publisher.
"The work and mission of Polish tv is enabling citizens to participate in public life and to show the events in a fair manner from the country and abroad. That's why tv Poland decided to carry out a pre-election debate in Koński" - said tv in a statement.
"The deficiency of TVP presence at specified a key event, reported and widely commented on by the biggest tv groups in Poland, would be incomprehensible from the point of view of the public mission and excluded over 2 million viewers"who watched the debate on TVP antennas" - reported.

TVP stressed that "all costs related to the preparation of the debate, including the implementation and production of the tv signal, bear the organizer of this event".

"The only cost to TVP is the wage of the host and publisher" - added.
At the same time, it was ensured that tv Poland "will fulfil all obligations imposed on it by legal regulations concerning elections and the debate set out in the Electoral Code 12 May".
Sender reports that all candidates have already been invited to participate in this event.
Debate in Horses. Financing confusion
The subject of financing the debate organised in Koński with the participation of Polsat News, TVP and TVN has already appeared during its implementation. A TVP writer then reported that the event was organised by the electoral committee of Rafał Trzaskowski.
PiS MPs submitted a announcement to the D.A. in connection with the debate in Koński.

"We inform about a legitimate suspicion of the crime committed by tv Polska S.A. in a liquidation involving giving the electoral committee a non-monetary advantage another than the law allowed (...) and by the Election Committee Candidate for president of the Republic of Poland Rafał Trzaskowski, consisting in accepting on behalf of the electoral committee a non-monetary advantage of a non-legal nature" - we read.
He referred to the charges in RMF FM Sławomir Nitras, associate of the Trzaskovsky Staff, who stated that all costs will be borne by his election committee.
The announcement to the prosecutor's office was besides submitted by the staff of candidate KO. His boss, Wioletta Paprocka, informed on social media that it was about, among another things, "the demolition of the hall" or "an effort to force inside."
