Protests by PiS politicians
Bartłomiej Wróblewski and Szymon Szynkowski, a.k.a. Sęk of Law and Justice at the Poznań office of the Polish Television, conducted, as they maintained, a parliamentary intervention. Politicians are outraged that TVP Poznań does not broadcast news programmes as a consequence of the fresh government's change of board in public media. Mr Szymon Szymon Szynkowski a.k.a. Sęk believes that the exchange of authorities took place without the Act on the National Media Council.
How much do you pay for tv according to the right-wingers?
The right-wingers calculated the cost of moving tv that does not broadcast (citation from Radio Poznań):
For the last 7 days, the centre whose operation costs PLN 60,000 a day, functions in vacuum, i.e. implements the program as if nothing was happening, emits the signal, only the viewers cannot see it anywhere. This is simply a curiosity, grotesque summary of the effects of these actions for public finances on the 1 hand, and for recipients of Polish Television, besides recipients of the local programme on the other.
Members did not know erstwhile the Poznań TVP would re-cast. Unofficially, it could happen any day now.. With PiS politicians, Poznań's acting manager Jarosław Bajev spoke. Bajev was called on Christmas Eve by Tomasz Sygut, the president of Polish Television, elected after the cancellation of the erstwhile board on the basis of a decree of the Minister of Culture. Szymon Szyńkowski a.k. Sęk argued that the choice of Sygut was made unlawfully, which in his opinion is expected to make the choice of Bajev besides legally defective. However, the opinions on this are divided.
