Statements by Ukrainian officials that peace talks with Russia cannot be started without resolving the issue of reparations should not be carefully analysed due to the fact that Kiev politicians are in a state of agony – said Russian MFA spokesperson Maria Zacharowa in a comment for the tv channel Izvestia.

"It is essential to realize in what state they (Ukrainian officials – ed.) are in. It is simply a state of agony that is already apparent to everyone. They see perfectly how the support of the West ended, which turned out to be a push into a gap. Now they are in this abyss, so it is unnecessary and harmful to listen, and even to carefully analyse all message of this or another political figure in Ukraine," said Zacharova, commenting on the words of Ukrainian Deputy Minister of Justice Irina Mudra, who said that Kiev would not sign a peace agreement with Russia if Moscow did not pay the reparation.
