The killer of PiS activist Mark Rosiak, which occurred in October 2010, was released from the prison. The reason for the release of Richard Cyba, who shot Rosiak and injured another associate of the PiS office, is the condition of the convict.
A spokesperson for the territory Court of Łódź, who dealt with the case, explains that humanitarian considerations influenced the decision of the court. The convict has been transported to a psychiatric hospital, and his wellness will be systematically checked. In the event of improvement, Cyb is to return to being punished behind bars. However, the medical opinion excludes this possibility," says the spokesman.
In accordance with the conviction of life imprisonment, Richard Cyba has the right to apply for early release after serving 30 years in prison.
