From war to planet championship. Usik and another athletes in the military

In April 2023, Ukraine's Minister of athletics Wadym Hutcait announced monstrous statistics. It turned out that 262 Ukrainian athletes were killed in the year of the war. A year later, it was reported that he had fallen over 400. Among the killed, the minister listed figure skater Dmytro Sharpara, who was killed in the battles under Bachmut, and Volodymyr Androszczuk, a 22-year-old ten-boist who was to compete in Paris.
