Many customers presume that the money in the account can be paid at any time in the bank branch or from the ATM. But that is not always the case. The bank may require prior withdrawal notification, i.e. cash avation, and the ATM has its own one-off and day limits. In practice, therefore, the client can leave the window without cash, even though the funds are on his account.
