Xî Jinping in Hungary. Relent or cold calculation of Orbán? [COMMENTARY]

Xi was last in Hungary in 2009, even before taking the lead in the PRC. The politician arrives on the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the 2 countries. Hungarian abroad Minister Peter Szijjarto, who went to China at the end of April, pointed out that the country was the most crucial investor in Hungary last year. In his view, cooperation with Asian countries is simply a way out of the economical difficulties that have affected Hungary in connection with the war in Ukraine.
