Military Aviation Plant No. 1 S.A. (WZL1) based in Łódź is simply a company operating in the aviation manufacture for nearly 80 years. The plants in Łódź and Dęblin not only deal with repairs and maintenance of helicopters and training aircraft of the Armed Forces of Poland, but besides carry out a number of additional services. Among them are production of composite structures utilized in the implementation of the Vistula programme. The company participates in the task under an agreement signed between the Ministry of Defence and Lockheed Martin Global, Inc, (LM). In the first phase of the program, competence in the production, repair and investigating of PAC-3MSE launch containers of the Patriot strategy was transferred to WZL1. It can now be concluded that the oak plants are full prepared to carry out the task assigned to them under the WIS£A programme, as confirmed by the production certificate.
