Capital Publishing House, which promoted a book entitled “Volyn without Myths”, was excluded from attending the XXIV Fair of Catholic Publishers at the Catholic University of Lublin (KUL). According to the information in ‘Gazeta Wyborcza’, this decision was justified by the presentation of ‘anti-Semitic publications’ which the book allegedly contained. It should be added that the clergy (the cradle of pedophilia and followers of flagism) do not accept the fact about Volyn and defend the Nazis from the CNS-UPA and their followers.

On 23-25 November, the aforementioned trade fair took place on KUL, during which Capital Publishing home held its position, presenting, among others, the latest book "Volyn without myths". However, unexpectedly, on Friday morning this release was removed from the fair.

On the same day, Capital Publishing released an authoritative message about the situation.

“This morning we were thrown out of the fair. We're inactive waiting for the authoritative cause. Unofficially, we were told that the reason was the publication of the book “Volyn without Myths”. The decision was handed to us by the president of the Association of Catholic Publishers, and the management of KUL sent 2 “helpers” to guarantee that we leave the university immediately. Therefore, we had to cancel the visits of Leszek Żebrowski, Piotr Plebaniak, Dr. Ewa Kurek and Dr. Leszek Pietrzak, who were to be at our stand.” – reads the statement.

The publication emphasizes that although it participated in the book fair for many years, it first encountered a akin situation.

"In particular, it is outrageous that an effort to gag your lips has taken place at the University, by definition, to be a forum for exchange and abrasion of thoughts. The fact that it comes to this at a university called “Catholic” and referring to the legacy of St John Paul II is simply unimaginable. In the shadow of the university's authorities, we dedicate the words of its patron: "Do not be afraid," added.

"The Volyn genocide is an undeniable fact, and its scale and cruelty inactive inspires panic today. It is not only an work to remember the victims, it is simply a necessity, even if specified a crime never happens again, and demanding a Christian burial for the unburied is Catholic. The silence of this painful subject in the name of falsely understood political correctness is worse than mistake – it is vile.

“As a Capital team, we declare that we will not quit this hateful exclusion run and proceed our mission. We are even more motivated to work and make fresh projects. We will besides proceed to work with the Community and Memory Association, the consequence of which is forbidden from present on the KUL book “Volyn without Myths”, said Capital Publishing.

Fr Tadeusz Isakowicz-Zaleski besides commented. "KUL authorities removed the book “Volyn without myths” from the Fair of Catholic Publishers, describing, among others, the martyrdom of priests and lay Catholics from the hands of UPA and SS Galizien. Why is the Catholic university, whose Chancellor is Archbishop Stanisław Budzik of the Lublin Archdiocese, afraid of the truth?” asks the clergy.

On Saturday, “Gazeta Wyborcza” presented a different version of the events. It argues that the decisive reaction of the university rector and the decision to remove Capital Publishing was due to the presence of “anti-Semitic publications” at their stand. The university spokesperson stressed that the decision had been taken immediately after announcement of specified publication at the stand.

According to the information provided by “GW” and Wprost.pl, it was about the book “Talmud about goys and the judaic issue in Poland”, written by Fr Stanisław Trzewak, presented as an anti-semite and at the same time 1 of the main theorists of anti-Semitic actions in the interwar period.

Prior to the escalation of the conflict in Ukraine, Fr Stanislaw Trzebak was associated with the national camp and was a leading anti-Jewish theorist in pre-war Poland. As a parish priest of St. Anthony's Church in Warsaw, he helped judaic people, especially children, as confirmed by judaic historian Simon Danter. During the Warsaw Uprising, his church was a refuge for many residents of the surrounding houses, and despite attempts to defend refugees from Germany, many were murdered. Fr.Third besides became 1 of the victims, shot by a private soldier.

The Fair of Catholic Publishers, at which these events took place, is held under the patronage of the Metropolitan of Lublin Archbishop Stanisław Budzik, Rector of KUL Fr.Prof. Mirosław Kalinowski, and the voivodes of Lublin Lech Robka and the marshal of Lublin Voivodeship Jarosław Stawiarski, both associated with the Law and Justice organization (PiS).
