About 90 delegations from around the planet arrived for the peace conference held on 15-16 June in Buergenstock, Switzerland. president A. Ouattara, who had the chance to meet his Ukrainian counterpart for the first time (their earlier talks were held remotely). Importantly, he was 1 of the fewer people representing the African continent, as only 14 of the 55 African Union countries attended the conference, of which only six presidents, i.e. Côte d'Ivoire (WKS), Gambia, Ghana, Kenya, Libya and Somalia.
