On Saturday, the Polish National Council 2050 adopted a resolution supporting 1 of the candidates for president in the second circular of elections. This resolution was taken together with the key proposals for Poland 2050. Who has the chance to receive the votes of Poland 2050?
The leader of Poland 2050, Marshal of the Sejm Szymon Hołownia, who in the first circular of the election was a candidate of the 3rd Way (Polish 2050 and PSL) and won 4.99% of the votes, as early as the election evening on 18 May, stressed that in the second circular of the presidential election a chance must be given to Rafał Trzaskowski. He officially supported the candidate KO on Tuesday. He besides announced his participation in the "Great Patriot March" organized by KO on Sunday.
On Saturday evening on the support of Trzaskovsky, the National Council of Poland 2050 met. The head of the Polish club 2050 Paweł Śliz submitted to PAP after its completion, that the Council unanimously adopted a resolution supporting Rafał Trzaskowski in the second circular of elections along with the demands.
Among them - as he said - is the patronage of the work on the Act on individual assistance, support for the improvement strategy of Polish energy by investments in energy from wind, sun and atom, presidential support for the Act on the deterrence of state Treasury companies and announcement of a presidential veto for the Act on Credit Supplements.
"The respect of these matters is crucial to convincing our voters to vote for Rafał in the second round" - said Sliz.
The support for Trzaskowski was besides declared by Magdalena Biejat, who competed as fresh Left candidate in the first circular of the election and obtained 4.23 percent support. The KO candidate besides unanimously supported the ultimate Executive Committee of the PSL.
The second circular of the presidential election will be held on 1 June; it will include candidate KO Rafał Trzaskowski and supported by PiS Karol Nawrocki. (PAP)
