Saturday night (May 24) Sławomir Mentzen and Rafał Trzaskowski held a debate, which was broadcast on the YouTube channel of the first of these politicians. After the camera lights went out, however, their time together did not end.
They went out for a beer. He uploaded the recording from the pub to the X Radosław Sikorski platform. "For Poland, which connects, it does not divide," he added. Donald Tusk wished them, in turn, "to health." The moods among the voters Mentzen and Karol Nawrocki (who late signed the eight-point programme declaration Mentzen) were not so positive. The presidential candidate in the 2025 election began to explain himself.
‘Z Nawrocki would have gone for a beer, too, but he didn't. I don't realize what any people mean. I don't belong to the mob, I don't belong to a cult. I'm going straight. I will not be enrolled in any of your camps. And politicians should be able to usually talk to each other," he commented in the entry.
Voters pissed at Mentzen. It was about a beer with Trzaskowski.
This, however, did not cool off the moods of any net users. "A large profession"; "I feel cheated; "You have come forward"; "Confederal voters are not people who spit in the face, and they say it is drizzle"; "I have always regarded Sławomir Mentzen as a PO mole, and that is confirmed," they wrote in their comments.
"But it is Nawrocki who is to invitation you to your pub? My guests don't invitation me into my house. usually (as already), I invitation them..." – said Janusz Korwin-Mikke. "I'm going for a walk, I gotta walk away," commented Robert Winnicki, erstwhile Confederate MP.
Let us remind: after the debate (even before going out for a beer) both Mentzen and Trzaskowski gave brief comments to incoming journalists. I think it was an interesting conversation. It would be a good thought for tv to start playing these kinds of conversations. You can see that there is simply a request for specified longer forms. The online probe said Trzaskowski didn't convince my constituents. Clearly, however, it was not his goal, he wanted to mobilize the left side," said Sławomir Mentzen.
When asked by PAP, “who will support before the second circular of elections”, he replied that “he will talk on this subject next week”. Trzaskowski besides referred to the conversation.

That's what I meant, a quiet, substantive discussion. [...] If I have convinced 1 3rd (the electors of Sławomir Mentzen – ed.) that is good. We have another week to convince. [...] I have signed nothing but a book. I think that if I make declarations, that is adequate – he concluded.
