Many participants of our Festival share their love of fantasy with love of four-leggeds. I'm certain everyone's heard about Pyrkon supporting animal welfare... Not all of them yet? We're in a hurry to explain!
Since 2022, Pyrkon has been working with animal aid organizations in the “All Animals Are Fantastic”. Together, we support pets through education and the spread of these amazing initiatives. During the 2025 edition, we join forces with 2 large teams – the “Labrador” Foundations and “I pack the heart”.
A fewer words about dogs...
Foundation for the Blind Labrador-Pies The guide is simply a remarkable squad aimed at social and professional rehabilitation of blind and visually impaired people.
They shall undertake the training of guide dogs, which shall then be provided free of charge to those in need. As you can imagine – the race that can meet this task is the Labradors of retrievers. In addition to training and socialisation, they supply these large dogs with care after their work and retirement. The Labrador Foundation is simply a associate of the global Guide Dog Federation, as well as having the authority to issue certificates for dog guides to blind or visually impaired people.
Interested? There will be a unique chance to observe dogs in action during the training union in Pyrcon. You will learn more about their lectures in the technological region and in the Fanowski Initiatives at their stand. You will besides find their representatives in the Children's Zone. Volunteers will be pleased to answer your questions.

"I Paze the Heart" The Foundation for the Aid of Blind Cats is the only specified organisation in Europe. Since 2014, informally, and since 2016 as a foundation, they have been helping blind and visually impaired cats, i.e. as they themselves fondly call them, blanks.
Their activities include taking cats off the streets and shelter cages and creating temporary homes for them, so kittens get a chance to live long and happy lives. Animals in Poland and abroad, specified as blanks from the war-torn Ukraine, are being helped. The organization's efforts were awarded the 2016 Catering of the Year and the Heart for Animals Awards 2017.
You will meet them at a stand in the Land of Exhibitors, as well as during a lecture in the discipline Zone, where you will be able to see with your own eyes how large the blanks are doing all day. There, volunteers will be happy to tell you, based on experience with their subjects, that disabled eyes are no barrier.
