The Polish-Belarusian border has been a place of migration crisis for months, but fresh reports uncover worrying practices of alleged "volunteers". According to ABW and Border defender materials, people claiming to be helpers were to participate in the movement of migrants, demolition of their papers and instructions on how to deceive European services.
"Help" or a para-maphic activity?
Television Republika published materials showing that any “volunteers” operating at the border helped illegal immigrants to enter Poland. According to journalists, the case is involved, among others. Clementine Suchanov, a associate of 2 government committees – on Russian influences and abuses against activists.
Adam AndruszkiewiczMr PiS and erstwhile Deputy Minister at the KPRM, in an interview with Michał Rachon stated:
“There are people from all over the planet who are being hauled off. Soldiers signaled to me that alleged volunteers take over migrants after illegally crossing the border, aid them burn papers and instruct them to compose in their applications that they come from Syria. This is simply a para-maphic activity, if not an agential one.”
Instructions for smugglers?
TV Republic has reached 3 instructions utilized by participants:
- For guides – how to decision immigrants across the border.
- For hosts – how to make homes available for smuggling.
- For drivers – how to safely transport illegal migrants.
According to the press, Bartosz Kramek (known for his opposition activities) was the admin of a group of drivers active in this activity. Reports besides indicate the existence of Network of coordinatorsWho were to finance the full operation.
Is this part of a hybrid war?
Andruszkiewicz stressed that the situation at the border is part of a wider hybrid operation aimed at Poland. Migrants from different countries are encouraged to claim Syrians, making it easier for them to apply for asylum in the EU due to the conflict there.
