The importance of railway infrastructure for the armed forces is unquestionable. This was clearly shown by the Russian invasion of Ukraine - for years the transport of troops and equipment has been carried out by iron roads not only on both sides of the conflict. In Poland, due to the function it performs - the transhipment hub, equipment heading east besides uses rail transport. The railway is simply a very crucial logistical component in this conflict, which cannot be replaced by maritime transport.
