Russian-Ukrainian War (as of morning 16.08.2025):
- Ukrainians attacked with long-range drones, oil depots under Volgograd.
- On the fresh Bolivian section, the Russians took control of the village of Oleksandrohrad. Impacts on the close Kamysuwacha continue.
- Ukrainian counterattacks proceed north of Pokrovska. Unfortunately, these fights are inactive wrapped in fog of war. According to the Russian side, the attacks were thwarted. According to Ukrainians, they recovered the villages of Zołota Kolodiaz and Weddings and circulated any of the enemy's forces south of them.
- East of Myrnograd, Russian forces occupied the Komsomolskaya mine. The city itself is heavy bombarded.
- There are inactive Ukrainian soldiers in the Kleban-Buyk boiler trying to break into their lines. They endure dense losses from drone and artillery attacks. The Russians hold off with the final storm, as the current course of events on this episode satisfies them.
- The attacks on weakened Ukrainian positions east of Kupańsk, around Petropawliwka, continue.
- Trump-Putin talks in Alaska ended. It has not yet been disclosed what has been specifically established in their course. We only know the phrases and circular words about the common desire to agree.
- On the occasion, Trump normalized relations with Lukashenko – he called him and thanked him for releasing 1,300 political prisoners.
