Russian-Ukrainian War (as of morning 08.03.2026):
Russia carried out a mass night attack on Ukraine utilizing rockets and drones. According to the Ukrainian authorities, about 29 rockets and about 480 drones were used. Ukrainian air defence shot down most: 19 rockets and over 450 drones. any missiles and drones hit targets in at least 22 locations, including Kiev and Kharkiv.
- Ukraine informs that in today's attack, Russia could usage a fresh version of a maneuvering rocket with a scope of about 1,500 km.
- Ukrainian drones hit Donetsk buildings.
Overall, the front remains very dynamic tactically, but without major strategical breakthroughs. Ukrainian forces keep a line of defence, and in any places recover tiny areas.
- Russian command shifts elite air-desant (VDV) units and a marine infantry from 1 direction of the front to another to strengthen the heaviest section of the Donbasa combat, where there is limited but effective Ukrainian counter-offensive.
- Small, Russian advancement has been made between Nowopawliwka and Serhivka.
